The people in Amsterdam mainly speak Dutch. Although Amsterdam is considered it's own country, it's like Washington D.C. It's its own district. It belong to the Netherlands, which is split up into 12 provinces. Most people think Holland is the entire country, but it's only the center province.

Amsterdam drugs
Like all other places, Amsterdam has drugs but some are legal. The legal drugs are called soft drugs and the illegal drugs are called hard drugs. Soft drugs are weed, shrooms, hash, and salvia. They are all legal in Amsterdam. The hard drugs are coke, crack, acid, ecstacy, and heroin.
